Your Ultimate Guide To Home Leg Workouts
Setting up a leg workout in the comfort of your own home is very easy. All you need is your bodyweight and a pair of dumbbells. I have never spent any valuable time on those fancy gym machines for your legs, and still have built huge legs.
Here are some exercises I used to build up my lower body:
Lunges
- Stand with your feet shoulder width apart and take a step forward with your right foot.
- Place your hands on your hips for balance. Lower your body towards the ground until your left leg forms a right angle at the knee.
- Raises yourself back to starting position, and pull your right foot back in.
- Repeat with the left leg.
Squats
- Stand with your feet shoulder width apart and arms by your sides.
- Keep your back straight, and slowly lower yourself down, with the weight focused on your heels, not your toes.
- Pretend you are sitting back on a chair and keep going as low as possible.
- Return to starting position and repeat as desired.
Sumo Squat
- Stand with your feet slightly wider that should width apart.
- Keep your back straight and slowly lower yourself down towards the floor.
- You may want to keep your toes pointing slightly outwards.
- Return to starting position and repeat as desired.
These three exercises should give you a complete leg workout. You can now stop relying on those expensive gym machines, and just start building your body at home.
